This presentation will first address the principal features of EIFS and look at how EIFS – with its excellent sustainable qualities – can benefit both new construction and the renovation of existing buildings. Next will be a description and review of two independent, government agency studies on the hygrothermal performance and life cycle analysis of EIFS. This will be followed by a discussion of the benefits of continuous exterior insulation and finally, discussion of how EIFS can contribute to LEED certification. Take the course.
