One area of desirable neighborhoods in Salt Lake City is located in a valley bordered by mountains — land for new houses is scarce. College friends Jeremy Jackson and Brandon LeRoy chose this area to cultivate a remodeling company. They combined their construction management skills to complete whole-house remodels for homeowners who need to update older houses to match their shifting lifestyles.
The duo have relationships with several architects in the area. “We’re trying to direct the flow of work more through us and then out to an architect,” LeRoy says. Clients sign a pre-construction agreement for a budget forecast based on conceptual drawings, which helps them stay within budget. For larger projects, the remodelers bring an interior designer onto the team.
