"I am" is The Wiese Co. motto. The words are embossed on uniforms and woven through company culture. Employees know they have the authority, ability, and skill to fix any problem. When asked "Who's responsible?" they answer, "I am."

It's a philosophy hatched by Raymond Wiese's college case studies training. His thesis on a remodeling business suggested success through diversification, but instead, in his affluent west-of-Boston market, Wiese has adapted to a niche of communities with zero developable land, aging housing, and residents with high incomes.

Raymond's wife, Therese, a former corporate COO, works for the company, as does brother Mike, a carpenter.

As a NARI chapter VP and membership committee chair, Raymond Wiese has grown membership from 159 to 204 members. His industry devotion won him the President's Award, and he's a study group leader for lead carpenter courses.
